Henzie by Spunga

Format: Commander

Commander: Henzie "Toolbox" Torre

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund deck leverages Henzie "Toolbox" Torre's blitz to deploy high-mana-value creatures cheaply, with haste, and as card-draw engines when they die. The primary plan is to chain blitz activations, sacrifice creatures for value, and recur them with Living Death or reanimation spells. Secondary paths include Protean Hulk/Birthing Pod tutoring into a Mikaeus loop with Gray Merchant and Kokusho, or overwhelming combat via Pathbreaker Ibex and Ilharg. Henzie is the engine; without him, backups like Skullclamp, Greater Good, and Yawgmoth keep the deck running. Wins arrive through repeated drain triggers or large trampling attacks.
