Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed mono-red storm and combat engine helmed by Zada, Hedron Grinder. The strategy revolves around assembling a wide board of inexpensive creatures and tokens, then casting cheap single-target cantrips and combat buffs directly on Zada. Zada copies each spell for every creature you control, turning 1-mana spells like Expedite into massive card-drawing bursts. By chaining card draw into mana rituals such as Battle Hymn and Jeska's Will, the deck generates enormous mana and draws dozens of cards in a single turn. It converts this critical mass into an immediate table kill using cards like Fists of Flame and Temur Battle Rage to grant massive power, trample, and haste. With Mirrorwing Dragon as a backup commander effect, the deck maintains consistency while utilizing redirect spells and countermagic to protect its decisive turn.
