Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger/control deck built to transform The Emperor of Palamecia into The Lord Master of Hell and kill all opponents in one attack with Starfall. The front face provides colored mana for noncreature spells and gains +1/+1 counters from 4+ mana spells; the back face turns the graveyard's noncreature/nonland count into lethal damage. Sanar, Unfinished Genius // Wild Idea serves as a hidden commander, tutoring for the key self-mill spells and producing Treasures. The deck spends the early game drawing, discarding, and self-milling with Traumatize and Cut Your Losses while counters and bounce hold off opponents, then wins the turn it attacks with a transformed Lord Master.
