Deck overview

This competitive mono-green combo deck uses The Cabbage Merchant as a resource converter and meta punisher. The commander generates Food tokens whenever opponents cast noncreature spells, turning opposing tempo into colored mana. The deck accelerates through format-ceiling fast mana including Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Mana Vault, and Ancient Tomb. Its primary game plan is assembling a compact three-piece artifact engine: Krark-Clan Ironworks, Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, and Academy Manufactor (or Peregrin Took). When assembled on Turn 4, sacrificing a Food to Ironworks generates infinite colorless mana, Clues, and Treasures. The pilot cracks Clues to draw the entire library, casting Walking Ballista to deal lethal damage across the table in a single turn. The deck defends its execution with premier protection spells like Veil of Summer and Defense Grid while disrupting opposing turbo strategies through Vexing Bauble and Damping Sphere.
