Gandalf Party by tolle41

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest is a Jeskai legendary-Wizard extra-turn deck. The commander's beginning-of-combat trigger free-casts an instant or sorcery with mana value equal to twice the number of legendary Wizards you control, so the deck's first job is to deploy two or three other legendary Wizards. Once X reaches 6+, the trigger casually drops Time Warp, Temporal Manipulation, or a copied turn spell into the stack, chaining extra combats and extra turns. Secondary paths convert all those spells into Talrand Drakes, Kykar spirits, Vivi Ornitier pings, and Gandalf, Goblins' Bane damage; in real games Insurrection ends with a stolen board. The commander is the primary engine, but no hidden commander exists: every Gandalf in the deck supports the same free-spell party.
