Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Bant Landfall and Creature Combo list led by Chulane, Teller of Tales. Its core strategy focuses on accelerating mana on turns 1 and 2 with efficient mana dorks and exploration spells to cast Chulane ahead of curve. Once Chulane is on the battlefield, every creature spell draws a card and puts an additional land onto the battlefield. The deck pairs Chulane with landfall mana generators such as Lotus Cobra and Tireless Provisioner alongside bounce creatures like Shrieking Drake to draw through its entire library in a single turn. Early tax enchantments like Mana Breach and Overburden disrupt opposing mana bases while Chulane completely breaks parity. In the closing turn, the deck creates a total lockout by repeatedly bouncing all opposing permanents with Venser, Shaper Savant and destroying opposing lands with Acidic Slime via Cloudstone Curio, finishing opponents with massive armies from Avenger of Zendikar and Scute Swarm.
