Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters and Elf-synergy strategy commanded by Ezuri, Claw of Progress. It generates early mana velocity using low-cost Elf mana dorks that simultaneously trigger Ezuri to accumulate experience counters. Once 5 experience counters are accumulated on the player, the deck seeks to resolve Sage of Hours to take infinite extra turns and eliminate the entire table. Backing up this primary combo is a resilient combat engine featuring Craterhoof Behemoth, Herald of Secret Streams, Kalonian Hydra, and counter multipliers like Doubling Season and Branching Evolution. Card advantage engines such as Fathom Mage, The Great Henge, and Guardian Project ensure a constant flow of threats and reactive protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Swan Song.
