Deck overview

This Grixis deck leverages Inalla, Archmage Ritualist from the command zone to duplicate Wizard enter-the-battlefield abilities and board presence for just one generic mana. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and low-cost utility Wizards such as Harmonic Prodigy and Stonybrook Banneret. By Turn 5, the deck deploys compounding engines like Azami, Lady of Scrolls or Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, drawing multiple cards per rotation and creating 0/1 pinging Wizard tokens. Critical pressure mounts around Turn 7 via a decisive Cyclone Summoner or overloaded Cyclonic Rift, wiping opposing non-Wizard permanents while preserving the pilot's board. The game closes across Turns 8 and 9 through evasive combat damage amplified by Docent of Perfection alongside repeated 7-life drains from Inalla's activated ability. While resilient to command-zone removal, the deck's basic-heavy mana base and modest interaction package require careful sequencing against faster combo and aggressive strategies.
