Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Morph and Landfall midrange strategy commanded by Zimone, Mystery Unraveler. It accelerates mana early to cast Zimone ahead of curve, then uses multiple landfall triggers in a single turn to cheat massive permanents into play. The first landfall trigger manifests dread, digging two cards deep and putting a card face down as a 2/2 creature. Subsequent landfalls allow Zimone to turn any permanent face up for free, bypassing exorbitant mana costs on cards like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, or Hullbreaker Horror. In addition to large creature beats, the deck features the classic Pickles lock via Brine Elemental and Vesuvan Shapeshifter, denying opponents untap steps repeatedly. Robust card draw from morph and face-down triggers keeps the engine fueled while uncounterable flip actions provide tactical utility.
