Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive group slug and damage amplification game plan built around the strict deckbuilding restriction of companion Obosh, the Preypiercer. By excluding all even-mana-value spells, the list trades away staple two-mana ramp and interaction in exchange for guaranteed eighth-card access to a damage doubler. In the command zone, Thanos, the Mad Titan provides early defensive presence as an efficient 4/4 with lifelink and deathtouch, while five-color lands occasionally enable his sweeping Power-up ability. The primary win condition revolves around deploying high-impact odd-cost threats such as Heartless Hidetsugu or Master of Cruelties alongside Obosh or Dictate of the Twin Gods. These engines rapidly halve or zero out life totals while asymmetric punishers like Kambal, Consul of Allocation and The Lord of Pain grind down surviving opponents. Robust spot removal and board sweepers clear blockers and disrupt enemy engines until the lethal burst resolves.
