Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius token-aggro engine commanded by Bard, King of Dale. The strategy curves low-cost Human token generators and draw engines into a Turn 5 commander deployment. Once in play, Bard doubles all token creation and turns every extra draw into two cards, rapidly burying opponents in card advantage and battlefield presence. On Turn 6, the deck converts this wide presence into lethal pressure using explosive anthems like Coat of Arms, Greymond, Avacyn's Stalwart, and Akroma's Will, or overwhelming token waves from Increasing Devotion and Horn of Gondor. A premier protection suite featuring Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, Dawn's Truce, and Grand Abolisher shields your development against sweepers and spot removal, ensuring your board survives to close out the game by Turn 7.
