Vito 2 by user8690199

Format: Commander

Commander: Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose is both the deck's engine and its most accessible combo partner. The primary plan is to gain life in small increments and convert each gain into opponent life loss through Vito, Sanguine Bond, Enduring Tenacity, Marauding Blight-Priest, or Starscape Cleric. Once a life-loss loop is assembled with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror, any lifelink attack, drain spell, or upkeep trigger repeats indefinitely. Secondary paths include Bloodletter of Aclazotz with Unstoppable Slasher, Shard of the Nightbringer, or Rush of Dread for half-life kills, Vampire beatdown with Sanctum Seeker, and X-spells like Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander; every major line ultimately routes through Vito's drain conversion.
