Deck overview

This Golgari sacrifice deck, helmed by Dina, Essence Brewer, aims to grind out incremental advantage through creature death triggers, life gain, and +1/+1 counter synergies. The primary game plan involves deploying sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer and Priest of Forgotten Gods alongside token generators such as Ophiomancer and Pawn of Ulamog to fuel card draw from Smothering Abomination and Moldervine Reclamation, while draining opponents with Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat. Dina herself provides a repeatable draw engine (once per turn on sacrifice) and a mana sink to convert sacrificed creatures into pumped threats. The deck lacks a clean infinite combo, relying instead on attrition-based value, board wipes like Toxic Deluge, and the life-gain payoff from Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Enduring Tenacity to close out games. Winning is a slow, incremental process built around multiple sacrificial loops and combat damage from oversized creatures.
