Thassa by jakephillips

Format: Commander

Commander: Thassa, God of the Sea

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-blue sea-monster deck uses Thassa, God of the Sea as a scry engine and unblockable enabler while deploying Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents. The primary plan is to stick a large evasive threat, draw with Bident of Thassa and The Key to the Vault, and finish through combat. The Mindskinner is the deck's only alternate win: an unblockable 10/1 that mills every opponent for 10 each hit. Thassa's activated ability makes otherwise blockable monsters reliable attackers. Brinelin, the Moon Kraken and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces are in the 99 as value pieces, not partner commanders. There is no two-card combo; Omniscience is a top-end dump, not a deterministic finish.
