Ardbert by Ninjasage

Format: Commander

Commander: Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov Legendary Tribal deck is helmed by Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness, a 2/2 for {1}{W}{B} that rewards casting white spells (vigilance) and black spells (menace) by placing +1/+1 counters on your legendary creatures. The strategy is a midrange value grind: deploy a dense field of legendary creatures, accumulate counters and incremental advantage, then overwhelm opponents with evasive combat steps backed by recursion and mass reanimation. The deck does not rely on a single infinite combo; instead it wins through board presence, keyword bonuses, and recursion loops that ensure your threats keep coming back. Primevals' Glorious Rebirth and Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher serve as mass recovery, while Akroma's Will turns a wide board lethal in a single combat.
