Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a classic Nekusar, the Mindrazer wheel-and-punish deck, built to convert every extra card opponents draw into life loss. The commander itself is the primary damage engine, but the 99 is packed with symmetrical draw effects (Kami of the Crescent Moon, Dictate of Kruphix, Fevered Visions), mass wheels (Windfall, Whispering Madness, Jace's Archivist), and damage multipliers like Underworld Dreams, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Phyrexian Tyranny. The deck aims to cast Nekusar as early as turn 4, protect him with cheap counters and boots, then resolve a wheel to drain the table. Backup lines include incremental damage via Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and The Locust God, plus a recursion suite with Kess, Dissident Mage and Underworld Breach to replay wheels.
