Commander: Shadow the Hedgehog

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shadow the Hedgehog turns dying hasty creatures into cards and spends artifact mana to give every spell split second. The deck's core plan is to build a Treasure surplus and cycle through hasty attackers/draw spells to find the two-piece loop of Mayhem Devil and Smaug the Impenetrable: a Treasure is sacrificed, Mayhem Devil pings Smaug, Smaug's noncombat damage trigger creates a fresh Treasure, and the loop repeats for infinite damage. Backup drain from Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, Agent of the Iron Throne, and Smaug the Magnificent can close games. The commander is primarily a draw engine and protection enabler rather than a combo piece.
