Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis theft and attrition engine commanded by Edea, Possessed Sorceress. The game plan revolves around temporarily stealing opponents' best creatures during combat, attacking with them, and then sacrificing them to free outlets like Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, or Carrion Feeder. When a stolen creature dies under your control, Edea triggers to draw a card and return the creature to its owner. Pairing this engine with Grave Pact or Dictate of Erebos turns every combat step into a one-sided board wipe that strips opposing battlefields clean while filling your hand. Complementary goad engines such as Disrupt Decorum, Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant, and Bothersome Quasit force opponents to batter each other while shielding your life total. High-impact mass theft spells like Mob Rule and Insurrection provide decisive burst finishes to close out the game once opposing life totals are depleted.
