This Abzan midrange deck is engineered around Betor, Ancestor's Voice, converting life payments into recursive creature reanimation and lifegain into explosive board buffs. Early turns establish mana velocity using low-cost mana dorks and card-advantage engines like Sylvan Library and Black Market Connections, which draw cards while generating the life loss required for Betor's end-step reanimation trigger. The deck wins by reanimating massive flying threats like Valgavoth, Terror Eater and Beledros Witherbloom or assembling the compact two-card infinite combo of Archangel of Thune and Spike Feeder for infinite life and an arbitrarily large army.
