Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Boros Voltron strategy commanded by Raiyuu, Storm's Edge. The game plan centers on utilizing Raiyuu's ability to take an additional combat phase each turn whenever a Samurai or Warrior attacks alone. By pairing this combat multiplier with premium Equipment such as Embercleave, Blackblade Reforged, and Maul of the Skyclaves, the deck rapidly scales single-target damage to eliminate opponents via commander damage. Dense equipment tutoring from Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, and Open the Armory provides consistent access to required buffs, while mana cheats like Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Sigarda's Aid eliminate equip-cost bottlenecks. Secondary win conditions include combat loops with Godo, Bandit Warlord and Helm of the Host, as well as table-wide damage redirection via Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. While lethal against individual targets on curve, the deck must manage the inherent political exposure of sequential combat eliminations.
