Deck overview

This Selesnya aggressive deck is led by Sovereign Okinec Ahau, focusing on exponential +1/+1 counter scaling, go-wide token creation, and overwhelming combat overrun finishes. Utilizing explosive 0–1 CMC acceleration such as Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, and Sol Ring, the deck rapidly establishes early board presence and power-buffing permanents before casting Okinec on Turn 3. When Okinec attacks on Turn 4, its trigger doubles the bonus power on modified creatures, turning modest boards into massive threats in a single swing. The deck secures victories on Turn 5 using trample and evasion from Craterhoof Behemoth, Akroma's Will, or Garruk's Uprising. Its execution is protected by an elite suite of silence effects and defensive instants, including Grand Abolisher, Silence, Heroic Intervention, and Teferi's Protection, preventing opponents from disrupting lethal combat steps.
