Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger storm deck piloted by Vivi Ornitier. The game plan leverages Vivi's dual abilities: turning every noncreature spellcast into incremental burn and +1/+1 counters, and converting Vivi's power into a massive burst of colored mana each turn. The deck accelerates through the early turns with cost reducers such as Baral, Chief of Compliance and Stormcatch Mentor, filtering through the library with cheap cantrips. In the midgame, it transitions into explosive turns fueled by Jeska's Will, Seething Song, and Vivi's mana ability, ultimately winning through infinite untap loops with Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal or Underworld Breach storm lines. An elite countermagic and protection suite shields the combo while efficient removal keeps opposing threats in check.
