Deck overview

This is a Dimir spellslinger / control deck helmed by Lord of the Nazgul. The primary game plan revolves around casting a dense suite of instants and sorceries to generate 3/3 black Wraith creature tokens with menace. Once nine or more Wraiths are on the battlefield, the commander's static ability pumps them to 9/9 base power and toughness, enabling a single alpha strike to eliminate opponents. The deck supports this plan with a heavy interaction package-counterspells, removal, bounce, and hand disruption-to control the board while building its token army. Secondary win conditions include the drain from Mirkwood Bats (triggering on each token creation or sacrifice) and incidental combat damage from other creatures like Eddymurk Crab or a large Behold the Unspeakable // Vision of the Unspeakable. The deck has no infinite combos and relies on incremental value to close out games.
