Ertai Resurrected by Sereus

Format: Commander

Commander: Ertai Resurrected

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Dimir control-combo deck is helmed by Ertai Resurrected, a flexible instant-speed creature that can counter spells/abilities or destroy creatures/planeswalkers, giving opponents a card as a cost. The primary win condition is the classic Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact line, exiling the library to win on the spot. The deck leverages a dense suite of flash creatures (e.g., Notion Thief, Faerie Mastermind, Orcish Bowmasters) and symmetrical draw disruption (Teferi's Puzzle Box) to generate overwhelming card advantage and an alternate mill wincon. Efficiency is key: fast mana (Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond), premium tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor), and a mountain of interaction (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship) allow the deck to assemble and protect the combo reliably while controlling the table.
