Deck overview

The Valeyard is a politics-and-punishment commander who doubles every villainous choice and gives an extra vote. The deck leans into that by packing villainous-choice cards that force opponents to sacrifice creatures, discard, or lose life, while Davros, Missy, and Genesis of the Daleks turn those triggers into a growing Dalek army. Voting cards like Expropriate and Plea for Power become back-breaking with Illusion of Choice, which lets you dictate every vote. The deck wins by grinding out card and board advantage, then finishing with a wide artifact-creature swing or a doubled burst like Ensnared by the Mara. It is not a combo deck; it is a value-control deck that punishes opponents for every choice they make.
