Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Bird typal strategy led by Kastral, the Windcrested. It curves out with low-cost evasive creatures, deploys cost reducers and mana rocks, and uses its commander to generate compounding card advantage, reanimation, and board-wide +1/+1 counters. Combat damage triggers from Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and Kindred Discovery refill your hand while anthems such as Gravitational Shift, Favorable Winds, and True Conviction turn small flyers into lethal threats. Disruptive creatures like Aven Mindcensor and Aven Interrupter hinder opposing game plans without slowing down your own development. The deck wins by swarming the skies and eliminating opponents through evasive combat damage over two to three attack cycles.
