Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Dimir Ninja Burn strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It leverages low-cost unblockable creatures on Turn 1 to cheat Yuriko into play on Turn 2 via Commander Ninjutsu, bypassing both countermagic and commander tax. Yuriko's combat damage triggers yield substantial card advantage while burning each opponent for the revealed card's mana value. The deck maximizes this damage by including high-CMC spells like Draco, Shadow of Mortality, and Blinkmoth Infusion, setting them up on top of the library with Brainstorm, Scroll Rack, and topdeck tutors. The influx of fresh cards fuels a robust suite of free and low-cost interaction (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Commandeer), allowing the deck to protect its board and disrupt opponents without giving up tempo. The game closes out through repeated group burn and combat steps across Turns 4 and 5.
