Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius synergy midrange strategy commanded by Denzilore Fatehold. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap evasive creatures and planeswalker token generators in the early turns, flashing in the commander, and continuously triggering scry and surveil abilities. Every library manipulation effect distributes +1/+1 counters to all creatures you control, rapidly turning small utility creatures and Cadet tokens into massive lethal threats. The deck leverages the Empower Jace mechanic via cards like Way of the Healer and Way of the Cryomancer to create recurring surveil outlets on loyalty tokens. While the deck boasts high internal synergy, smooth top-deck filtering, and solid single-target interaction, its reliance on wide creature combat leaves it susceptible to well-timed board wipes.
