Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Rakdos group slug combo build commanded by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy uses low-cost pingers and punishing attrition enchantments to trigger Ob Nixilis whenever an opponent loses exactly 1 life. Each trigger places a +1/+1 counter on the commander and exiles a card from your library playable until your next end step, creating an impulse draw engine. The deck accelerates with cheap artifacts and rituals to deploy Ob Nixilis by Turn 3 or 4. It quickly digs into its two-card infinite combo with All Will Be One or storm lines with Underworld Breach and Wheel of Fortune. A deep suite of free and low-cost redirection spells, such as Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend, shields the commander from spot removal while turning opposing interaction against the table. The deck reliably pressures life totals and finishes the game in a single turn.
