vren the rat pooper by Noobslayer010

Format: Commander

Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vren, the Relentless leads a Dimir edict-control deck that turns every opponent sacrifice into exiled creatures and scaling Rat tokens. Vren replaces death with exile and creates X 1/1 Rats each end step that each get +1/+1 for each other Rat, so three sacrifices become three 3/3s and quickly snowball to lethal. The deck floods the table with cheap edicts, Fleshbag effects, and removal to keep boards clear while Vren grows the army. Secondary paths use Bolas's Citadel for card advantage, Dictate of Erebos to chain sacrifices, and Piper of the Swarm or Lord Skitter to make Rats and steal creatures without Vren.
