Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-red burn and token swarm strategy commanded by Purphoros, God of the Forge. The game plan centers on deploying Purphoros on Turn 4 as an indestructible non-creature enchantment, then flooding the board with low-cost, multi-body creature token generators like Hordeling Outburst, Dragon Fodder, Siege-Gang Commander, and Song of Totentanz. Each creature entry triggers Purphoros to deal 2 direct damage to every opponent simultaneously, bypassing traditional combat blockers and pillowfort effects. Damage amplifiers such as Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Dictate of the Twin Gods accelerate this clock, while backup pingers like Impact Tremors and Molten Gatekeeper ensure redundant pressure. The deck operates with exceptional assembly consistency because its primary win condition resides in the command zone, backed by over twenty interchangeable token spells. It also features an infinite token backup combo with Dualcaster Mage and Electroduplicate to close games at instant speed, reliably eliminating the table by Turn 7.
