Commander: Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov aristocrats and token engine led by Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar. The game plan focuses on generating sacrificial token fodder with cards like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Ocelot Pride, then feeding those creatures into sacrifice outlets such as Ashnod's Altar, Viscera Seer, and Bartolome del Presidio. Each death triggers Syr Vondam and drain engines like Marionette Apprentice, Elas il-Kor, and Cruel Celebrant to whittle opponent life totals while growing your commander into an evasive threat. The primary win lines stem from mass sacrifice drain backed by Teysa Karlov, big Gray Merchant of Asphodel bursts, or the infinite life-drain loop of Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose.
