Format: Commander

Commander: Kalamax, the Stormsire

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Temur instant-copy spellslinger deck helmed by Kalamax, the Stormsire. The plan is to land Kalamax, tap him (via combat or tap-outlets), and weaponize his "first instant each turn" copy trigger alongside a dense suite of forks, magecraft payoffs, and X-spells. Every copied instant grows Kalamax with +1/+1 counters, turning him into both a copy engine and a lethal damage body for Fling or Soul's Fire. Primary wins are infinite copy loops feeding Ral, Storm Conduit or Guttersnipe, oversized Comet Storm turns, and commander-damage/burn finishers. Secondary value comes from Double Vision, Twinning Staff, Archmage Emeritus, and Rhystic Study. The deck plays reactive instant-speed magic, holding up interaction while assembling a copied kill spell.
