Scarab by BigStinkyRat

Format: Commander

Commander: The Scarab God

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Scarab God helms a UB Zombie tribal deck that plans to fill its graveyard, turn those cards into 4/4 Zombie copies, and win through a combination of global upkeep drain and overrun-style combat with anthem effects. The shell uses early Zombie engines (Cryptbreaker, Corpse Augur, Tomebound Lich) to generate tokens and cards; Lords and Captains pump the horde; mass token spells like Necrotic Hex and Army of the Damned provide explosive finishes. The commander's exile-copy ability is the core, but the deck can still play a straightforward Zombie beatdown game if The Scarab God is removed.
