Deck overview

This deck centers on Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, operating as an Izzet artifact Voltron strategy. Early turns focus on establishing Tony on Turn 2 and using his activated ability to dig four cards deep each turn for high-impact Equipment or artifacts. By Turn 6, the deck reaches six mana to activate Tony's sorcery-speed transform ability, turning him into a 5/5 flying, haste threat that cheats massive artifacts directly into play at the beginning of combat. Cheating game-ending Equipment like Aettir and Priwen, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or Argentum Armor creates an immediate must-answer lethal attacker. Because the deck focuses heavily on thematic Iron Man variants and equipment, its mana acceleration is modest, leaning on standard land drops. Its primary vulnerability lies in its reliance on sorcery-speed transform timing and a severe lack of instant-speed creature removal to interact with opposing board states.
