Deck overview

This deck is a focused Selesnya creature aggro strategy commanded by Torens, Fist of the Angels. It establishes an early board of synergistic Human creatures and dorks, converting every creature cast into 1/1 Soldier tokens with training. The deck rapidly scales its board size using token doublers like Parallel Lives and Doubling Season, mana engines like Katilda, Dawnhart Prime, and massive counter-scaling payoffs like Kyler, Sigardian Emissary and Cathars' Crusade. Critical combat pressure typically comes online by Turn 6, closing out the table with an overwhelming multi-body swing or an unblockable Akroma's Will alpha strike by Turn 7. The strategy is reinforced by an exceptional suite of reactive protection spells, including Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, and Heroic Intervention, which shield the creature swarm from opposing sweepers and targeted removal.
