Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Historic Voltron Midrange build led by Noctis, Prince of Lucis. The primary game plan revolves around casting legendary creatures and impactful equipment, utilizing Noctis's ability to cast artifacts directly from the graveyard by paying 3 life. This lifepay is easily offset by Noctis's natural lifelink and life-gain synergies like Aerith Gainsborough and The Wind Crystal. Early turns focus on mana ramp, self-mill, and assembling equipment such as Swiftfoot Boots, Brotherhood Regalia, and Buster Sword. Once online, the deck shifts into an aggressive combat posture on turn 6, utilizing powerhouse armaments like Excalibur, Sword of Eden and Genji Glove to deal massive chunks of evasive commander damage. Support cards like Squall, SeeD Mercenary and Golbez, Crystal Collector provide redundancy, while countermagic and spot removal keep key pieces safe.
