Deck overview

Edgar Markov is a Mardu Vampire swarm deck that uses Eminence to turn every Vampire spell into extra 1/1 tokens. The primary plan is to curve cheap Vampires into anthem effects and win with a wide, pumped attack; Edgar's haste and attack trigger make the first swing much larger. Secondary paths include aristocrat drain from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Corpse Knight, and Sanctum Seeker, plus mass reanimation with Living Death and Olivia, Crimson Bride to rebuild after wipes. The commander is the engine, but because Eminence works from the command zone, the deck can function even if Edgar is never cast. There is no hidden commander; the list is built entirely around Edgar's token generation.
