Oloro lifegain by user9071550

Format: Commander

Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Esper deck's primary plan is to convert life gain into card draw and opponent life loss, using Oloro as both a command-zone engine and a battlefield payoff. Secondary paths are the big X-draining spells such as Exsanguinate and Debt to the Deathless, plus an Aetherflux Reservoir finish after the life total grows large. Oloro has no hidden double-faced mode; the deck is built around the ordinary creature: it may stay in the command zone to give its guaranteed 2-life upkeep, then enter the battlefield to turn every life-gain event into a draw and 1 damage to each opponent. The main win lines combine Sanguine Bond, Enduring Tenacity, Vito, or Starscape Cleric with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror, giving an infinite drain loop once Oloro or any other life-gain event starts it.
