Sorin of House Markov by Buttcheeques

Format: Commander

Commander: Sorin of House Markov // Sorin, Ravenous Neonate

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An Orzhov Vampire lifegain deck. The primary plan is to make early life triggers, then convert each gain into damage with Vito, Marauding Blight-Priest, Astarion, Elas il-Kor, and Bloodthirsty Aerialist. Secondary is a token combat path with Mavren, March of the Canonized, and Vampire lords. Sorin of House Markov is the setup: front face is a 1/4 lifelink extort available on turn two; once 3+ life is gained, it flips into Sorin, Ravenous Neonate, whose -1 turns the turn's gained life into a huge damage spell. There is no hidden extra commander; the deck is built to use the front face for the engine and the back face for the finisher. Bolas's Citadel and Alhammarret's Archive keep the engine alive if the game goes long.
