Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger strategy centered on Ovika, Enigma Goliath. The primary game plan spends the opening turns aggressively deploying artifact ramp to cast Ovika on Turn 5. Once Ovika is in play, every noncreature spell produces 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin tokens with haste equal to its mana value. The deck converts these tokens into overwhelming damage using combat multipliers like Shared Animosity, City on Fire, and Devilish Valet, or through direct enter-the-battlefield burn from Impact Tremors and Agate Instigator. Rituals such as Battle Hymn and Brightstone Ritual turn small token boards into massive mana bursts to chain further spells. While Ovika's built-in ward provides solid resilience against spot removal, the entire engine heavily depends on the commander remaining on the battlefield to generate tokens.
