Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Rakdos build centered on Setzer, Wandering Gambler, blending Vehicle beatdown with coin-flip variance and Treasure aristocrat payoffs. Setzer enters the battlefield providing both a pilot and The Blackjack, a flying Vehicle token that generates Treasures whenever combat damage triggers a won flip. The deck leverages coin-flip enhancers like Krark's Thumb alongside token amplifiers such as Academy Manufactor, Xorn, and Crime Novelist to produce explosive mana bursts. These resources fuel high-impact threats including Skysovereign, Consul Flagship, The Thanos-Copter, and Smaug, Wicked Worm, while drain engines like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Reckless Fireweaver rapidly convert token production into direct damage. While the deck possesses strong board resilience due to Vehicles avoiding sorcery board wipes, its reliance on combat connections and lack of stack protection leave it vulnerable to targeted removal.
