Commander: Mayael the Anima

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Naya Mayael the Anima "big mana stompy" list that ramps hard, then cheats enormous power-5+ creatures onto the battlefield via Mayael's activated dig. The plan is straightforward: accelerate into Mayael the Anima, keep six mana up, and repeatedly slam haymakers such as Blightsteel Colossus, Etali, Primal Conqueror, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Worldspine Wurm. Alternate cheat outlets (Natural Order, Green Sun's Zenith, Selvala's Stampede, Smuggler's Surprise, Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast) back up the commander. Wins come from raw combat, infect closers (Blightsteel Colossus, Triumph of the Hordes), damage doublers (Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Xenagos, God of Revels), and late value engines like The Great Henge and Vaultborn Tyrant. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck is pure midrange inevitability through oversized bodies.
