This deck is an Abzan Aristocrats and Reanimator engine commanded by Tayam, Luminous Enigma. The core strategy leverages counters across creatures to activate Tayam's activated ability, milling cards and recurring low-mana permanents directly onto the battlefield. Low-drop undying creatures such as Young Wolf and Strangleroot Geist synergize with Tayam's passive vigilance counter ability, generating abundant counter fodder. The deck ramps cleanly on turns 1 and 2 to cast Tayam on turn 3, beginning value loops on turn 4.
