Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Grixis midrange deck commanded by Edward Kenway. Its primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Pirates, Assassins, and Vehicles early to facilitate combat and crewing. Once Edward enters the battlefield, he turns tapped board pieces into an escalating hoard of Treasure tokens every end step, while allowing combat-connected Vehicles to steal spells from opponents' libraries. The deck converts this mass artifact and mana surplus into lethal pressure using dynamic finishers such as Cyberdrive Awakener, Marionette Master, and Mirkwood Bats, or through evasive Vehicle combat. It also houses an incidental two-card combo with Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Glint-Horn Buccaneer that can instantly close the game during combat. Supported by versatile removal and card advantage from vehicles, the deck plays an interactive, board-centric game that grinds out value before overwhelming the table in the mid-to-late turns.
