Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity token swarm and combo deck commanded by Baylen, the Haymaker. It accelerates in the opening turns by creating cheap creature and non-creature tokens through cards like Gilded Goose, Many Partings, and Tireless Provisioner. Once Baylen, the Haymaker enters the battlefield on Turn 3 or 4, every token acts as flexible mana fixing and card draw. This massive draw engine digs into the deck's primary win conditions: two-card infinite loops between Basking Broodscale and Rosie Cotton of South Lane, or Midnight Guard and Presence of Gond. Beyond combos, the deck can overrun the table using asymmetric sweepers like Hour of Reckoning, direct burn from Witty Roastmaster and Molten Gatekeeper, or end-step life drain with Throne of the God-Pharaoh. Protective spells such as Selfless Spirit, Rootborn Defenses, and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar defend key pieces from disruption.
