Deck overview

Umbris, Fear Manifest is a UB exile-mill control deck that turns every opponent card in exile into commander damage. The pilot ramps quickly, deploys Horror/Nightmare creatures to trigger Umbris's exile-until-land ability, and then resolves mass-exile effects such as Tasha's Hideous Laughter, Court of Cunning, and Ashiok, Dream Render to make Umbris a huge unblockable attacker. The deck also controls the board with counters, removal, and graveyard hate; Dauthi Voidwalker and Leyline of the Void ensure opponent cards fuel the exile count instead of graveyards. A secondary mill-out plan runs through The Mindskinner and Captain N'ghathrod. Umbris is the primary finisher, but the other Horrors provide defense, card advantage, and alternate paths. There is no hidden commander; Captain N'ghathrod is a support piece.
