Deck overview

This Rakdos deck centers on Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer paired with Scion of Halaster to dictate the pace of multiplayer combat. By goading opposing boards, Baeloth forces opponents to attack each other, leaving the pilot safe while turning combat casualties into a steady stream of Treasure tokens. Scion of Halaster provides consistent top-deck selection from the command zone, ensuring smooth land drops and steady access to interaction. The 99 is packed with complementary forced combat pieces like Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, Kardur, Doomscourge, and Disrupt Decorum, alongside group slug engines like Court of Ambition and Kaervek the Merciless. As opponents whittle down each other's life totals and creature boards through compulsory warfare, the deck accumulates mana to close the game with devastating finishers like Exsanguinate or Rise of the Dark Realms.
