Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Vampire tribal and Aristocrats strategy led by Astarion, the Decadent. The primary game plan focuses on deploying low-cost Vampires, creating creature tokens with cards like Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle and Call to the Feast, and assembling sacrifice outlets alongside drain triggers like Cruel Celebrant, Blood Artist, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Once a solid creature base is established, Astarion, the Decadent comes down to double the life lost by opponents each end step, rapidly eliminating players one by one. The list features rich creature synergy and versatile permanent removal like Damn and Utter End. However, the mana acceleration package is very light, containing only two mana rocks, which causes high-cost curve toppers like Butcher of Malakir and Astarion to deploy strictly on curve.
