Deck overview

This Sultai deck focuses on self-mill, land recursion, and explosive reanimation synergies centered around Teval, the Balanced Scale. In the opening turns, the deck deploys efficient ramp and self-mill enablers to rapidly stock the graveyard with lands and high-impact creatures. Once Teval attacks, it ramps lands from the graveyard while generating an army of Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The primary win condition bypasses traditional combat by utilizing Buried Alive or heavy self-mill to set up Lord of Extinction alongside Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, sacrificing the massive Elemental to drain the entire table simultaneously. Backed by alternative recursion engines like Muldrotha, the Gravetide and Six, as well as evasive beatdown from Wonder and Brawn, the deck presents resilient mid-game inevitability and fast recovery against removal.
